Miranda Lambert Saves the Day for an Injured Kitten
and May Have Found a Second Career as a Veterinarian

Nashville, TN (September 9, 2005) During a recent show in Louisiana self-proclaimed animal lover Miranda Lambert put her Texas farm skills to good use. Upon returning to her tour bus after a sound check, Miranda heard a meowing coming from a nearby dumpster.

“The meows were not the meows of a happy kitten. I knew the cat trapped under the dumpster was not in good form.” states Miranda.

She proceeded to lure the kitten out from underneath the dumpster with some bologna found on the bus. Once out Miranda noticed a gaping wound on the kitten’s face and wasted no time taking action.

“I took the kitten back on the bus with me and rummaged through my first aid kit for something to stitch up the cut and stop the bleeding.” states Miranda. “Miraculously the kitten stayed still and I ended up cleaning and closing the wound and covering it in Neosporin. Then I cut out a little tiny band-aid and put it on the kitten’s cut.”

Miranda’s efforts were later complimented by one of her fan’s who happened to be a veterinarian. She examined the kitten and told Miranda that she had done an excellent job and that everything would heal nicely thanks to her quick actions.
