NASHVILLE, TN - (February 29, 2008) - Two-time Grammy nominee, Miranda Lambert, isn't a stranger to the road as she's been playing clubs and traveling through Texas towns since the age of sixteen.  But this spring and summer Lambert blazes her own trail with her first headlining tour hitting over forty markets.

The tour began in late January and in typical fashion, Miranda has given 110% to each stop - "On her first headlining tour, Texas-born country singer Miranda Lambert had no trouble adjusting to the limelight of performing center stage. In fact, she took to it with aplomb...," noted the Cleveland Free Times.

And things will only heat up from here as she continues with club shows to major festivals, and everything in between.  Most dates are currently on sale, with more possible dates to be announced soon.

Miranda has garnered attention from critics and fans alike since her debut album, Kerosene, was released in 2005.  Her follow-up, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, just like Kerosene before, debuted, at #1 on the Nielsen SoundScan country chart. Her current single "Gunpowder & Lead" is burning up the radio charts, but like many of the songs on the record, the live versions send sparks flying.
