Grammy Nominee Miranda Lambert Releases New Single

"Gunpowder & Lead" Fires Up The Airwaves

Nashville, TN January 18, 2008 - Columbia Nashville's Miranda Lambert closed out 2007 with a bang.  Her sophomore album Crazy Ex-Girlfriend was a unanimous critics' favorite, gracing nearly every year end list, including Rolling Stone, Blender, Time Magazine, Washington Post and USA Today.  She also scored her second Grammy nomination for the "Best Female Country Vocal Performance" for "Famous In A Small Town." 

 

To fire off 2008, the singer/songwriter exploded onto radio this week with the release of her blazing new single, "Gunpowder & Lead," from the album Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.  With a solid debut on both country singles charts, this marks Lambert's highest charted record on impact date.  Already, there has been such an overwhelming fan response and passion for the track that SIRIUS 60 New Country has kicked it into Power Plus rotation.
