CHARITY
MuttNation Foundation – Miranda’s 501(c)(3 foundation produces yearly fundraisers in Tyler, TX and Tishomingo, OK to raise money to build animal shelters for better care; increase pet adoption and encourage responsible pet guardianship.
MuttNation funds transport and activities for “RACE”– Ran’s Animal Care Express. Cause for the Paws
Tyler, TX This was Miranda’s 1st fundraiser in 2008 which collected over $118K benefiting the Humane Society of East Texas. Miranda chose this local shelter because that’s where she spent her time volunteering whenever possible and also where she adopted her dog “Delilah” from. The 2nd annual “Cause for Paws” raised $125K in 2009 and Miranda’s 3rd annual benefit, held on May 15, 2010, raised $91K.
Hearts & Tails – Tishomingo, OK
Miranda’s 2nd benefit in 2010 in Tishomingo, OK raised $69K. Her 1st fundraiser for the greater Texoma community where she has a farm and lives full time raised $70K in 2009. The funds from this event helped launch the building of a new shelter for animals in Tishomingo.
Miranda Lambert also supports St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Catch a Dream.
