LBT members Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman lend their voice to the first ever Elvis duets album. Elvis Presley Christmas Duets features Elvis’ original vocals from holiday performances that were originally recorded for yuletide albums in 1957 and 1971.
LBT member Karen Fairchild can be heard on Mellencamp’s new cd, Life, Death, Love and Freedom, as she duets with the superstar on “My Sweet Love”, Mellencamp’s current single and video on VH1. She also lends vocals to “Don’t Need This Body,” “A Ride Back Home” and “For the Children.”
LBT’s vocal work can also be heard on John Mellencamp’s song “Our Country,” currently featured in Chevrolet’s national advertising campaign, and they lent their distinctive harmonies to eight tracks on the rock superstar’s CD, Freedom’s Road.
